• Use specific in-labour techniques to support pelvic function, manage pain, and promote relaxation during labour.

• Interpret and communicate using the language of obstetrics, enhancing collaboration with medical birth teams.

• Understand the intervention cascade and guide patients in making informed birth choicesl.

• Deliver advanced postnatal care and adjusting techniques, including timing and clinical indicators for postpartum care.

• Support breastfeeding and the mother-baby dyad, understanding chiropractic’s role in early attachment and feeding challenges.

• Recognise and respond appropriately as a postnatal depression and anxiety-informed practitioner, referring when necessary.

• Guide families in optimising the fourth trimester, promoting thriving transitions for both mother and baby.
